Two wanted persons nabbed
Police Station 7 together with the Intelligence Branch and the Investigation Detection and Management Branch (IDMB) personnel of Bacolod City Police Office led to the apprehensions of Two Wanted persons namely Roberto Balenia, 51 years old, married of San Jose Street in Barangay 6 and Rey Mejica alyas “Ariel Ledesma”, 37 years old, married of ECC Villas in Barangay Alijis in this city.
Balenia has a pending warrant of arrest for violation of Republic Act 9262 or the Violence against Women and their Children (VAWC) under Criminal Case Numbers 09-32441 and 09-32442 with Bail Bond of Php 12,000.00 issued and signed by Honorable Judge Ray Allan Drilon of Regional Trial Court Branch 41 this city.
Suspect was caught at Purok Kabugwason in Barangay Mansilingan this city on January 05, 2010 at about 1:30 P.M.
Mejica was apprehended by virtue of a warrant of arrest for Estafa under Criminal Case Number 07-12-14476 with Bail Bond fix at Php 10.000.00 issued and signed by Honorable Judge Napoleon S Diamante of MTCC Branch 3 this city dated January 04, 2008.
Suspect was nabbed at ECC Villas in Barangay Alijis this city on January 5, 2010 at about 12:35 P.M.
Both suspects are presently detained at the lock up cell of Police Station 7. (PO1 Jared Esquilla)
