Bermejo turns over first speech lab in CNHS
ROXAS CITY – City Mayor Vicente Bermejo turned over the first ever speech laboratory last Friday at the Capiz National High School (CNHS) here.
The speech laboratory worth P750,000 with complete accessories was received by Capiz National High School mentors led by its principal Nestor de la Cruz who expressed thankfulness to the mayor.
Bermejo also said that the same speech laboratory will also be installed at the President Manuel Roxas Memorial School (PMRS) south to cater to elementary students.
“Speech laboratory will develop language skills of the students,” Bermejo said adding that this will also train students after their graduation.
City Councilor Ramon “Monchit” Albar, who is the chairman on committee on education, said that the P1.5 million budget for speech laboratory was sourced from the school board funds.
The turn over ceremony were also attended by Vice Gov. Felipe Barredo, Albar and other public officials and private individuals.
