Suspect in med rep’s death known
Police investigators already have leads in the identity of the suspect behind the killing of a medical representative at La Paz, Iloilo City.
La Paz Police Station investigator SPO1 Gabial said that they have also theories as to why Lemuel Limsiaco was killed.
“We have information as to who killed the victim. But we could not divulge it for the moment,” he added.
But sources claimed of a possibility that the incident was a “crime of passion.”
“Basi parte ni sa lover’s quarrel,” investigator SPO1 Hector Pabalan earlier said.
Reports pointed that Limsiaco was gay and this could be an angle, along with his sexual preference, as to why he was killed.
To note, Limsiaco, 36, of Block 4, Brgy. Sinikway, La Paz district was found dead near their neighbor’s house at around 6:00 in the morning of Monday.
But it was assumed that he was already dead as early between 4:00 and 4:30 a.m.
He was blooded and suffered fatal stab injuries on his chest and side of his body.
He was only wearing a pair of shorts.
According to Brgy. Capt. Felix Ventura, the victim has no known enemies in their community.
He was a good man amid his effeminate nature.
“Ang akon lang basi ginpangayu-an siya sang kwarta kag wala siya naghatag, amo nga nga ginbuno siya,” Ventura theorized.
Meanwhile, Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO) director Senior Supt. Melvin Mongcal assured Limsiaco’s family that they will continue to investigate until the perpetrators are brought to justice.
