Coop Council elects new officers
The Bacolod City Cooperative Development Council inducted recently their new set of officers.
Vice Mayor Jude Thaddeus Sayson administered the oath of office to the newly elected officers in ceremonies held at the New Government Center.
Elected officers were Raquel Portal (chairperson), Mildred Valladolid (vice chairperson), Bernadeth Manahan (secretary), Lawrence Ledesma (treasurer), and Reggie Salveron (auditor).
Each member cooperative is also represented in the various committees of the council.
Sayson said that the city government, through the City Cooperative and Livelihood Development Office, assists these cooperatives in terms of finances, skills and livelihood seminars.
