Joc-joc: Fertilizer scam issue a mere black propaganda
ROXAS CITY – Gubernatorial candidate former Agriculture Usec. Jocelyn “Jocjoc” Bolante of Ugyon Kita Capiz (UKC) said here recently that the alleged P728 million fertilizer scam is a dirty political propaganda thrown against him by dirty politics.
This was revealed by Bolante during the political forum hosted by the students and faculty of Filamer Christian College (FCC) on the question on how his plunder case affects his performance as aspiring governor.
“There was no plunder case against me,” Bolante said that adding that there was no evidence as the basis of filing of plunder case against him on the alleged fertilizer scam.
According to him, not even a single centavo went to his pocket on the alleged fertilizer scam. He also said that no court convicted him nor the senate has the power to prosecute any criminal guilt.
“I believed that I sufficiently answered all issues regarding the alleged fertilizer scam,” Bolante said.
“Bahala nalang and dios sa ila sa pag husga sa akon,” Bolante said.
Asked what made him decide to go back in Capiz and run for governor despite his prosperous life in Manila, Bolante said that he is a native of Dao, Capiz and his father was a native of Panay and his wife is from Maayon.
According to him, he returned to Capiz to share his blessings. “We cannot just close our eyes since our province can recover as what it is now,” Bolante said.
