Free training for printer’s workers
A printing firm in Iloilo City has this penchant of engaging in unfair trade practice which is being abhorred by the local printing industry. Aside from “pirating” employees from fellow printers it also has this habit of “diving” their prices just to get the job which destroys the printing industry. It is no surprise that this printing firm engage in unethical business practices since its owners have been doing the same when they were still with another printing firm. However, TNT Publishing Inc. and Makinaugalingon Press would like to help this printing firm in order for them to stop engaging in unethical trade practices. TNT Publishing Inc. and Makinaugalingon Press are offering to train the layout artists or any other workers of this unscrupulous printing firm for FREE so that they would no longer engage in pirating employees. They just have to send their layout artists or workers to either TNT Publishing Inc. and Makinaugalingon Press for free training; after a few weeks the workers will be returned to them already with enough skills and competence to do their jobs right! How’s that?
Arrogant councilorable
A candidate for city councilor, who is a lawyer, has shown his arrogance even if he is not yet in position. The said city councilorable – with two bodyguards in tow – was recently seen going inside a coffee shop in Valeria Street leaving his pick-up vehicle parked outside. What was noticeable was that the area where the candidate’s pick-up was parked was a no parking area. Worse the pick-up parked just a few meters away from the traffic sign marked with “NO PARKING”. A traffic auxiliary came to see the pick-up but one of the bodyguards of the city councilorable whispered something to him making the traffic aide go away from the illegally parked vehicle. Susmayorsep! Kandidato pa lang gani hadlok na ang traffic auxiliary. Ano pa gid ayhan kon magdaug konsehal ang kabalan nga ini?
Joshua’s clarification
Former City Councilor Joshua Alim, who is running again for City Councilor, clarified that his program “Central Point” on CPU Alumni Channel 8 on SkyCable is open to all candidates from different political parties and not only to his partymates or “political groupmates.” This is in compliance with the order of the management of CPU Alumni Channel to give equal chance to other political aspirants to air their platforms as well as their reasons for joining politics.
