Leonardia rallies support for ‘Street Rhythm’
Bacolod Mayor Evelio Leonardia enjoins all Bacoleños to rally behind and support the “Street Rhythm” – winners of the last Electric MassKara – who have joined the TV program, “Showtime”, at ABS-CBN, Channel 4, on Saturday, March 6, 2010.
Leonardia encourages every constituent of Bacolod City to watch the show on Saturday as it is the weekly finals of “Showtime”. The “Street Rhythm” won in the talent show last Monday and will compete against other winners from other editions of the show. The prize for the weekly finals is 1Million and the winner will be qualified to compete during the monthly finals.
“I would like to enjoin our constituents to watch the talent show at Channel 4, ABS-CBN, as a form of support for our “Kapwa taga-Bacolod”, the mayor said.
The “Street Rhythm” is composed of dancers from Barangays Estefania and Bata and has been a consistent winner of other talent shows. “Showtime” is a TV show that showcases various abilities and talents of participants from localities nationwide. It is hosted by celebrities: Ann Curtis, Vhong Navarro and Kim Atienza.
