Bacolod City launches ‘Makulay ang Buhay’ feeding program
The Bacolod City Government, through the Department of Social Services and Development, officially launched for this year, the “Makulay ang Buhay ng Batang Pinoy” supplemental feeding program.
The launching was held at the barangay hall of Barangay Tangub and was led by Councilor Homer Bais and DSSD head Sally Abelarde.
An annual activity of the city government in coordination with the Department of Social Welfare and Development, the feeding program targets pre-school children aged three to six years old.
Through this program, pre-school children are given nutritious food and milk everyday for six months. The program also helps parents to provide their children with nutritious food and milk for proper nourishment.
The feeding program will also be launched today at Barangays Taculing and Mandalagan.
