Robbers burglarize abandoned house
Police investigators are facing a blankwall as to who burglarized a house at JMI Subdivision, Brgy. Guzman, Mandurriao, Iloilo City.
Although not much was taken, but neighbors of house owner, 32-year old Frietzie Roquios, feared that robbers will also hit them.
It was gathered that Roquios left their house last Monday to send off her husband who will be going to Manila.
She did not return home immediately and, instead, proceeded to her hometown in Estancia, Iloilo.
Roquios arrived Wednesday evening and was surprised that the main door was not locked anymore.
She directly checked the bedroom and found it in disarray.
Initially, the victim claimed that they lost an Acer laptop worth P44,000, a pair of earrings, a bracelet, and a piggy bank with some P4,000 coins in it.
Police probers surmised that the suspect/s gained entrance by detaching the air condition unit.
There were no forced entries on the other parts of the house.
It was also theorized that the robber/s proceeded to a house which has a path going to the nearby Anaros Village.
