Dr. Romeo Ocampo speaks at ICNHS Class ‘50 60th Year Homecoming
Dr. Romeo Ocampo, a prominent surgeon and family medicine practitioner in Pennsylvania, USA will be the guest speaker during Class 1950 ICNHS 60th Year Alumni Homecoming on April 10, 2010 to be held at the Marina Restaurant, Diversion Road starting at 8 a.m. Dr. Ocampo belongs to Class 1950 ICHS and the son of Avelina Ocampo, the longest serving high school principal of the then Iloilo City High School in Molo in the early 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s.
Alumni in Iloilo, Guimaras, Antique, Aklan, Capiz, Guimaras and Negros Occidental and those in Metro Manila will join their fellow alumni many of who are in their late 70s. The Manila delegation will be headed by retired Air Force chief Gen. Federico Pasion, Col. Mariano Ganzon, CEO Roberto Gellegani, CEO Raymundo Siquenza, Atty. Romeo Parcon, and many others. The Negros Occidental alumni will be headed by former GSIS Bacolod City Manager Clarito Alipio, Dra. Nenita Ynson, CEO Ma. Luz Demailig, CEO Aguinaldo Pablo. The Iloilo delegation will be headed by former City Mayor Mansueto Malabor, Col. Rodrigo Espinal, former Commanding Officer of the 7th Infantry Battalion and, former Professor Ester C. Regozo of U.P. Visayas, Rural bank Executive, palay fishpond magnet Napoleon Tiongco, Dr. Ernesto Rivera, prominent and respected physician of Jaro and Mandurriao, CEO Cecil Mabilog of NFA, DPWH Accountant Emilio Antiqueña, outstanding high school teacher Corazon Antiqueña, vehicle insurance manager Lolita Canto, former UP Diliman professor Dr. Lucila Hosillos in literature and world outstanding novelist and fiction writer-author, Dr. Gerardo Tanilong, CEO Ricardo Palabrica, U.S. Navy retired officer Andres Zabala, Barangay Capt. Benjamin Lorenzo, PRC retired supervisor Rodolfo Cordero, this writer, etc.
Alumni Class 1950 are supporting yearly 12 high school scholars since 1970, donated an office building, and a P12,000 shade seater delivered last week, and many others. The class 1950 is also giving sick alumni P5,000 which already include their voyage to the heavenly realm.
The April 10 60th year Alumni Homecoming of Xlass 1950 ICNHS will usher a brighter tomorrow and new beginning for a blessed life for those who accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour and have become born again thus inheriting eternal life.
