Villasis vows to support education once get elected
ROXAS CITY – A prominent lawyer and successful businessman in Manila who returned back in Capiz to run as independent board member in May 10, 2010 vowed to support education program once get elected.
In his message delivered before kindergarten graduates, Atty. Priston Villasis said that one of his platforms is to support the education program of the provincial government not only in 2nd district but also in the entire province as a whole.
“Let me begin by saying that for the new graduates, I share your happiness in this important moment of your life. And for the parents for your efforts and sacrifices to your children to have reached their goals,” Villasis said.
He also urged that elected public officials should prioritize education program for the youth as they are the hope and the future leader of our nation.
Villasis was one of the guest speakers during the graduation of Independent Baptist Kindergarten in Pob., Ivisan March 19 and Matagnop Fundamental Baptist Kindergarten in Matagnop, Dao, Capiz on March 20.
Villasis said that the forthcoming election is the important day of the country that voters should participate without reservation and urged them to be choosy.
“Ask your candidate if he supports a program for education; a candidate who will espouse in that education is a birthright of every single child of our district, and that he will seek a program for a child to finish college even if his parents are not rich,” Villasis emphasized.
