DMGJ at Trini’s birthday
Trini Gustilo Baldevarrona celebrated her 75th birthday recently at her posh residence at Jereos Street, La Paz. She and hubby John welcomed the guests who were composed of relatives and close family friends who came in their summer and Hawaiian-inspired attires.
It was a double celebration, actually. The birthday was catered by the Dicen Maventa Gustilo and Jaranilla (DMGJ) Tourism and Hospitality Academy, making the event a sort of culminating activity for this year’s graduates. They surprised the guests with their delicious Vegetable Salad, Fresh Lumpia, Lechon, Tuna Roll, Roast Turkey, Nori Siomai, Pancit Guisado, Chicken Cordon Bleu, Fish Fillet with Sweet and Sour Sauce, Ox Tongue with Mushroom Sauce, Carrot and Pineapple Cupcakes and their oh-so-sinfully fabulous Cookies and Cream Ice Cream.
DMGJ Tourism and Hospitality Academy offers a two-year course in Hotel Restaurant and Services as well as a one-year course in Culinary Arts and Catering Services. They are located at 40 Jereos Street, La Paz and can be reached through telephone number 3208443.
