Gabaldon building in Kabankalan inaugurated
The blessing, inauguration and turn-over rites of the renovated Gabaldon building located at the ERAMS-West compound were held recently with Gov. Isidro P. Zayco as keynote speaker.
The building which was restored to its original structure will now house the Dep-Ed-Kabankalan division office. The design of the building was not changed due to its historical background and has already been a landmark in the city for many years, said Angela Malala, education supervisor I Values Education).
Funding for the renovation were taken from the city and the provincial governments in the amount of P4,242 million with P1.5 million coming from the local school board.
The turn-over of the symbolic key was done by Mayor Pedro P. Zayco, Jr. and VM Delia Anacan and received by Eugene Lucerna, administrative officer V and Elisa Broñola, CESO VI, school division superintendent.
Also present during the program were Board Member Adolfo Mangao, Sr., city councilors, school division superintendents, principals and teachers, (Eddie M. Yap)
