Police: Daughter admits plan to kill adoptive ma
Following the dictate of her conscience, a daughter admitted to be behind the botched plan to have her adoptive mother killed.
Anna Agramon voluntarily surrendered to Zarraga Police Station.
According to Zarraga PNP chief Insp. Elberto Pudadera, Agramon admitted that she hired the suspect who stabbed her 68-year old adoptive mother.
“Damo na kuno utang niya kay Mrs. Sevilla kag sa iban pa nga mga tawo. May mga sa gift check kag sa Bombay (Indian national),” he added.
Agramon allegedly saw the death of her mother to somehow solve her problem.
Pudadera added that Pavia Police Station has already the name of the stabbing suspect.
To note, Sevilla and Agramon, both residents of Delgado-Mabolo Sts., Iloilo City, were stabbed very recently at Sitio Puro, Brgy. Poblacion Ilawod, Zarraga town.
At around 6:45 p.m. last Friday, reports said that the duo proceeded to the area after Agramon allegedly received a text message that someone would like to pay his loan.
She allegedly asked Sevilla, who is into lending business, to accompany her.
As they were walking in the area, two persons suddenly approached them.
But Pudadera said that one of the two men asked them where they were going and immediately thrust a knife at the two victims.
The man who stabbed them took the victims’ mobile phone and bag containing P600 among other things.
Sevilla was hit on the stomach while Agramon suffered a graze wound on her arm.
Even earlier, police doubted Agramon’s statement after investigation revealed that there was no person living in Brgy. Poblacion Ilawod who was supposed to pay Sevilla, as the text message said.
