Pa killed, 2 sons wounded over family feud
A fracas between two families claimed the life of a 57-year old father and wounded his two sons very recently.
Police identified the fatality as Cresencio Paro, Sr. of Brgy. Igdulaca, Miag-ao, Iloilo while wounded were Bernard Paro, 25, and Cresencio, Jr.
The elder Paro suffered hack wound on the head while Bernard sustained a gunshot wound on the shoulder while Cresencio had back injuries.
Police identified the three suspects as Reynaldo Morante, 60, and his two sons — Rene and Roosevelt.
Investigation disclosed that Bernard and Roosevelt had a previous argument over a certain woman identified as Romina.
It was gathered that Romina, ex-girlfriend of Bernard, is now Roosevelt ’s girlfriend.
The little argument turned into a feud involving their respective families after they crossed path at Rene’s house.
It was gathered that Rene and the Paros are in-laws.
Police accounts claimed that there was a commotion first that turned into a grappling incident.
When the brawl ended, witnesses saw the bloodied bodies of the three Paros .
Meanwhile, Roosevelt claimed to have received a text message from Bernard.
“Gin-text-an niya ko nga kung maka-gwa ko kuno sa presuhan, utdan niya gid ko li-og. Gin-text-an ko man siya nga ubusay na lang kami lahi eh,” he claimed.
The three suspects are presently detained at Miag-ao Police Station pending the filing of charges against them.
