Headless body still unidentified
Police investigators still failed to identify the headless body which was found floating at the Iloilo Flood Control Project at Brgy. Banuyao, La Paz, Iloilo City.
La Paz PNP commander Chief Insp. Giovanni Musico said that three families from different towns in Iloilo province already looked for the body.
However, they could not identify if the body is that of their loved ones.
On top of being headless, Musico said that they found it hard to identify the body since it was already in advance state of decomposition when found.
He added that they have been conducting investigations but no person could give them any information as to what happened.
“We theorized that the body was only dumped there and the victim was killed somewhere else,” Musico said.
It was gathered that the identified victim suffered 24 stab wounds on the different parts of the body.
To note, the body was found by a resident of Banuyao Saturday morning.
Aside from underwear, no other garment was found on the victim.
