Woman claims headless man is her son
A woman came out very recently claiming that the headless body found floating at the Iloilo Floodway at Brgy. Banuyao, La Paz, Iloilo City is her son.
Marilyn Go of La Paz, Iloilo City alleged that she was able to identify that it was her son, Roque, through the underwear the victim wore when he was found.
Go was also puzzled at the reason why her son was killed.
Roque, she added, suffered from nervous breakdown.
But while Go asserted and wanted to have the headless body, Mrs. Porras of the Porras Funeral Homes is not about to hand in the victim’s remains.
Porras claimed that she needs proof from the victim’s family.
As proof, the owner is amenable for a DNA test to be conducted.
“Ti, siyempre imo pasiguruhon kung sila gid ang pamilya. Nagkadto di sila pero indi kasiguro ang pamilya. Depende lang na kung mapatud-an nila nga ila pamilya,” Mrs. Porras added.
A few days from now, though, she added that they might bury the victim since the body was already in the advance state of decomposition.
On the other hand, Brgy. Capt. Joseph Porral of Brgy. Ingore, La Paz, Iloilo City, claimed that he knew Roque since the latter worked for him at his hollow blocks business.
But after three days, Roque decided to stop working since the workplace is far from where he lived.
He also claimed that the victim has no derogatory record in their village.
Meanwhile, even the Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO) is not also ruling that the victim was indeed Go’s son.
