WV has 8 cases of election-related violence
If the number of violent incidents would be the basis for employing the security measures this elections, it would seem that Iloilo Province and Iloilo City will get the lion share of police personnel who will be deployed this May 10.

The three ERVIs in Iloilo City include the shooting of Luis Mondia Jr, a mayoralty candidate in Pulupandan, Negros Occidental, in front of Jaro Cathedral on February 17, and the two separate incidents of grenade explosion in front of bakeshop owned by the family Mayor Jerry Treñas in Brgy. There is no reported ERVI in five other provinces and Bacolod City .

Except for Iloilo City and Bacolod City , other police provincial officers will also receive augmentation force for this election.
