Tanco bares priorities for 2nd term
ROXAS CITY – Reelected Gov. Victor Tanco, Sr. said that the acquisition of heavy equipment, health care, education and infrastructure projects as well as tourism and employment are still top priorities of his administration.
Tanco told the local media that he will call all sectors of the society to have strategic planning in his first 100 days in office for his second term.
According to him, he will purchase additional heavy equipment for the province to be sourced from the credit facilities of the province at the Philippine Veteran’s Bank.
For health care, Tanco said, additional bed capacity would be placed at the Roxas Memorial Provincial Hospital and he will appoint two separate heads for administration and medical aspect.
For infrastructures, the governor also said that the concreting of provincial roads already started funded by the Philippines Veteran’s Bank as part of the province’s credit facility.
He added that Ivisan-Basiao provincial roads will also be concreted as part of the province’s tourist attraction improvements.
Meanwhile, the governor also said that aside from scholars, additional school buildings will be put up. He also plans to review the school curriculum for the students.
In employments aspect, the governor also said that he will invite investors like call centers, etc. to put up their business in Capiz.
