Man stabs dead 12-year old cousin
A 12-year old boy was found dead days after he was killed in Brgy. Caidquid, Mambusao, Capiz.
The body of Argie Baal, also a resident of the said place, was already in a state of decomposition when found Friday.
He bore 7 stab wounds on the different parts of hid body.
Reports said that the boy went missing Tuesday afternoon.
A witness claimed to have last seen Baal after his second cousin, Eddie Laurilla, summoned him to go with the latter.
Laurilla, at that time, was on a drinking spree with some friends.
The witness claimed that that the victim and Laurilla, also a barangay tanod at Caidquid, returned thirty minutes later but without the victim.
Police investigation revealed that the suspect brought his cousin near their house and stabbed the victim.
When police investigation, tinges of blood were even seen at the bamboo fence of the victim’s house.
“Gintabunan niya dayon sang sako. Sang gab-i na, ginpas-an niya kuno kag ginhaboy,” SPO4 Edwin Javedra told GMA TV-6.
Emitting foul odor, the body was discovered at a forested area in Brgy, Caidquid, some 150 meters from Laurilla’s house.
After the discovery of the incident, Eddie surrendered to police authorities.
Meanwhile, Javedra revealed that the victim had no previous police record in Mambusao Police Station but was suspect of various robbery incidents in their village.
Laurilla believed that his mother was also a victim of Baal’s thieveries.
“Kung makainom siya, nagasugid siya sa mga tawo nga upod niya nga kung matsansahan niya, patyon niya. Ang motibo niya kay amo na anggapangawat sa ila,” Javedra said.
As this developed, the victim’s family is yet to file a formal criminal charge against the suspect who remains incarcerated at Mambusao Police Station lock-up cell.
