BIR urges Capiceños to join instant prize promo
ROXAS CITY – Taxpayers have already the chance to become an instant millionaire through the Bureau of Internal Revenue’s (BIR) Premyo sa Resibo (PSR).
Capiz Assistant Revenue District Officer lawyer Rimi Jose Lebrilla said that the BIR has earlier launched its Instant Premyo sa Resibo to give the taxpayers to win simpler prizes like brand new cars, P5,000 cash, thousands of P30 Prepaid Load daily and P1,000,000 cash.
Lebrilla explained that the Instant PSR is a project of the BIR in support of their “Ask For Your Receipt” campaign and powered by PhilWeb Corporation.
He said that the Instant PSR is their newest and exciting mobile service in the country where an official receipt (OR) earns the public a chance to win instant prizes.
Valid receipts include the official receipts issued for the payment of services rendered or goods sold bearing the business name and address, tax identification number (TIN) of the business, name of the printer with inclusive serial number of booklets and date of issuance of receipts.
It also includes sales/cash invoice and cash register machine/point of sales receipts, Lebrilla said.
To join in said BIR’s Instant PSR promo, one only needs to key in their mobile phone PSR <space> <TIN# of receipt>*<receipt #>*<receipt amount>, send to 9777 for 1 entry or 9778 for multiple entries, Lebrilla said.
“In moments, you will receive a reply telling you if you won or not,” he said, adding that no registration is needed and no long waiting time for the draw results.
Lebrilla stressed that the promo is open to all Smart, Talk N Text, Globe, Touch Mobile and Sun Cellular subscribers nationwide where every entry costs P2.50.
