‘Drunk’ woman stabs pal
A woman believed to be drunk stabbed her friend Wednesday night at their residence in City Proper, Iloilo City.
The suspect Olga Billones hurt the victim Victoria Go, 30, after the two had an argument, police report showed.
Go said she was asleep before the incident and was awakened only when Billones arrived and then asked her to prepare food.
But Go said her friend threw the food away and became unruly, and they exchanged harsh words. At the height of their argument, the suspect got hold of a knife and stabbed Go on the back.
Members of the Iloilo City Emergency Response team treated the victim while Billones was put under citizen’s arrest by her neighbors.
She was later turned over to policemen.
At the police station, Billones admitted that she stabbed Go, claiming that her friend is “hard-headed,” and even told her that she is a“bitch.”
Billones said she retorted, “This bitch is the one who took care of you.”
She said that she let Go stay with her after the latter was accused of theft.
Despite what happened, Go said that she has no plans of filing charges against her friend, much more have her jailed.
In fact, Go was the one who offered a hand of reconciliation by hugging her friend.*
