Anti-Dengue Mile Run
The organizers of the Anti-Dengue Fun Run headed by Boyet Rentoy (middle).In order to create awareness on dengue and how to avoid getting it, Prosports Inc. headed by its president, Boyet Rentoy visualized an Anti-Dengue Awareness Campaign. Supported by Dr. Fabian Mabasa, dengue coordinator of the Department of Health Region 6, this vision was moved into action. Thus, the Anti-Dengue Run was created. Held last July 24, the race started at 6:30 AM at the Gaisano City Cark Park going to the Efrain Trenas Boulevard. Then, the runners returned to Gaisano by way of the Jalandoni Bridge as their turning point.
The 9 Years Under Female Category winners were Rhones Sheihan, Jeany Pearl Martirizar and Aura Cepeda. 12 Years Under Female Category winners were Stacey Sophie Revego, Jhoe Venus Lyn Gape and Diane Mae Ollete. 15 Years Under Female Category winner was Jacosalem Frenza Ara.
9 Years Under Male Category winners were Robert Macuman, Miler Agustine and Rento
