Stray bullet kills 3-year-old boy
A three-year-old boy from Aklan died after he was hit by a stray bullet.
Police are facing a blank wall on the identity of the gun owner whose bullet killed Gerald Villarosa, a resident of Sitio Mapait, Brgy. Aranas, Balete town.
Villarosa was sleeping with his two siblings when the incident happened.
His grandmother, Excelsa Remon, noticed something wrong with her grandson and when he was brought to the hospital, physicians saw blood coming out of his chest.
Investigation showed the bullet entered through the roof before it hit the sleeping child.
The Aklan Police Crime Laboratory will soon release the autopsy result of Villarosa.

Meanwhile, a dispute over an illegal power connection turned bloody and claimed a man’s life Monday evening in Brgy. Calaparan, Arevalo, Iloilo City.
Aguido Guillermo, 51, was pronounced dead at the Iloilo St. Paul’s Hospital after sustaining multiple stab wounds.
His adversary, Roberto Maprangala, 40, was also brought to Iloilo Doctors’ Hospital for treatment of his stab wounds. He was later transferred to the Western Visayas Medical Center.
At around 8pm, Maprangala confronted his neighbor over the latter’s illegal electricity connection then a verbal and physical tussle ensued between the two men armed with knives, leading to Guillermo’s death.*
