Dadivas heads VMLP-Capiz
ROXAS CITY – Vice Mayor Ronnie Dadivas of Roxas City was elected president of the Vice Mayors’ League of the Philippines-Capiz Chapter during the league’s meeting on August 30 at the Lake House, San Antonio Resort here.
The election was facilitated by the Department of Interior and Local Government headed by Provincial Director Helen Mestidio.
Dadivas, a member of the Liberal Party, garnered 10 votes to defeat Dr. Gualberto Bernas III of Panay, who had only four votes.
In his victory speech, Dadivas assured his fellow vice mayors that he will continue the programs of the league.
Also elected were: Abel Martinez of Mambusao, vice president; Weldie Apolination Jr. of Maayon, secretary; Ruby Patricio of Pilar, treasurer; Alfonso Golero of President Roxas, auditor; and Rodolfo Simon of Sigma, PRO;
The Board of Directors is composed of Bob Gardose of Tapaz; Edgardo Arancillo of Dumarao; Jedy Cedullo of Cuartero; and Samson Montorio of Jamindan.*
