Use complaint hotline–mayor
Iloilo City Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog is urging the public to use the complaint hotline of the City Hall.
Mabilog said the public could call in their complaints and inquiries through hotline number 3333-533.
He said the hotline numbers will allow the public to directly report their complaints on bad services at the City Hall. It will also accept feedbacks, complaints, suggestions and recommendations. The line is open only during office hours from Monday to Friday.
Mabilog said the City Hall’s hotline will encourage public participation in promoting transparency and good governance.
He said the public will now be given the chance to easily access information and interact with city government services through the direct lines.
The people in the community level could also call in the hotline to report misdeeds by their local officials as well as unfinished projects and other concerns on health such as dengue, the mayor said.
Mabilog said the hotline will direct the complainant to the proper offices who will be able to help them.
The mayor said he will see to it that the complaints will be acted upon swiftly especially that he is keen in professionalizing the entire city hall workforce and personnel.*
