‘Wow Capiz’ photo exhibit set
ROXAS CITY – A Wow Capiz Photo Exhibit will be staged by hobbyists and professional photographers on September 24 to 30 at the second floor of Gaisano City as part of the Provincial Tourism Week celebration.
Provincial Tourism Officer Alphonsus Tesoro said the exhibit will be spearheaded by the Capiz Photographic Society and the Capiz Camera Club.
“Various tourist spots captured through the lens of the photographers will be featured in the exhibit,” he said.
Tourism Regional Director Edwin Trompeta and Capiz Gov. Victor Tanco Sr. have been invited to opening rites of the exhibit which will be followed by a program and the induction of the officers of the Organization of Tourism Officers of Capiz.
The opening day activities of the week-long celebration also include the 5th Provincial Convention of Hotel and Restaurant Management and Tourism Teachers and Students at the Filamer Christian University.
The convention will be joined by about 800 participants from Iloilo, Aklan and Capiz schools offering HRM and tourism-related courses.
