ROXAS CITY – The city government is pushing for the utilization of heritage sites, cultural landmarks and similar areas as possible tourist attractions in Roxas City.
Vice Mayor Ronnie Dadivas, who is behind the initiative, organized a tour and ocular inspection with the local media and government employees.
The group visited the Light House, Moro Tower, Cadimahan River, Culajao Ecopark, Vermi Demo site, Manuel Roxas Birthplace, Hortus Botanicus, Capiz National High School, and Balay Kapiznon.
Dadivas said tourism development is one of the thrusts of the Celino administration to attract both domestic and international visitors.
The areas visited are possible tourist destinations that will be developed by the city government, he added.*
