OTOC officers sworn in
ROXAS CITY – The officers of the Organization of Tourism Officers of Capiz for 2010 were inducted into their respective posts by Gov. Victor Tanco last September 24 during rites held at Gaisano City in line with the Provincial Tourism Week celebration.
Dr. Jinky Lynn Contreras, Pontevedra town tourism officer, leads the new officers as OTOC president.
Other officers are: Norma Chavez (Jamindan), vice-president; Teresita Argame (Pilar), secretary; Frederick Oleo (Sapi-an), treasurer; Helen Diocera (Panit-an), business manager; Wilson Dalid (Dao), Public Relations Officer; and Rolly Miguel (Sigma), auditor.
Inducted as OTOC members are Roland Aguirre (Roxas City), Ma. Jane Gardose (Tapaz), Leah Gialogo (Dumalag), Jocelyn Mayo (Cuartero), Michelle D. Duronio (Maayon), Marilyn Bebar (President Roxas), Mary Antonnete Delgado (Panay) and Zenaida Langgurayan (Mambusao).
“I truly appreciate this opportunity to head the organization,” Contreras said during her inaugural message.
She said the OTOC is committed to help each local government unit in Capiz in the development and marketing of the province’s tourism potentials.
