Iloilo City gov’t bags ‘best frontline services’
The Civil Service Commission has conferred to Iloilo City Government the “Best R.A.C.E. Exhibit” award during the 110th Philippine Civil Service anniversary celebration recently.
Iloilo City bested all other local government units in Iloilo for showcasing the outstanding services of its frontline offices.
Criteria were based on this year’s theme “In a R.A.C.E. to Serve: Advancing Responsive, Accessible, Courteous and Effective Public Service.” A Civil Service Commission team inspected the exhibits and conducted interviews with frontline personnel.
Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog said he takes pride in presenting the city’s featured accomplishments and current programs, projects, and activities to better serve the Ilonggos.
“Our frontline services keep the City Government in the running for bringing quality and efficient service to the constituents,” he said.
Mabilog received the certificate of recognition from CSC Director II Erna Ilisan.
City Hall department heads were also given certificates for their active support to the Civil Service anniversary last month.
Offices with frontline services that participated in the exhibit were the City Mayor’s Office, City Assessor’s Office, City Treasurer’s Office, City Engineer’s Office, Office of the City Civil Registrar, City Environment and Natural Resources Office, City Health Office, La Paz Maternity and Reproductive Health Center, City Population Office, City Planning and Development Office, City Social Welfare and Development Office, City Tourism and Development Office, and the Sangguniang Panlungsod.*
