Del Castillo assumes as Panitan councilor
ROXAS CITY – Rosauro del Castillo, husband of Maayon-Panitan Municipal Trial Court Judge Filpia del Castillo, assumed as member of the Sangguniang Bayan of Panitan last Friday to finish the term of Councilor Abraham Belvis who died a few months ago.
In his inaugural message, Del Castillo, thanked former Sen. Mar Roxas, Liberal Party national president, for nominating him which ultimately led to his appointment signed by Gov. Victor Tanco Sr., who also administered his oath of office last October 29.
He also expressed his gratitude to First District Rep. Antonio del Rosario and LP allies Manuel Billones and Alberto Roldan who supported his appointment.
Del Castillo said he is pushing for a unified mission-vision for Panitan, with consultative, sustainable and transparent governance of a leadership by example towards a more progressive and better municipality.
Before his appointment as SB member in Panitan, Del Castillo was a congressional consultant on LGUs’ affair and political affairs officer of former Rep. Rodriquez Dadivas.
He has also been employed at the Philippine Ports Authority-Culasi Port Services.*
