There was no doubt that Manila Beer’s product launch provided that festive event tantamount to that of Dinagyang. Dubbed as “Manila Rocks Iloilo”, the event enticed thousands of Ilonggo beer drinkers, band aficionados and fun-lovers to find their way to Paseo de Arcangeles where the two-night grand event was held. Well-followed and admired Manila-based bands and performers such as Typecast band, Ney band, Hilera, General Luna and Rico Blanco entertained the Ilonggos who were gulping their bottles of Manila Beer. Home grown bands in the likes of Illegal Entry, Kuatro Kantos among others also graced the Friday and Saturday nights free concert.
In addition to the rock performances, some members of the crowd also added fun to the event as they joined various games that brought more laughter.
