Local stocks retreat for 3rd straight day
MANILA, Philippines–Stocks ended lower for the third straight day on Wednesday, with the key index down 0.6%.
The key Philippine Stock Exchange index fell 22.81 points to 4,124.54, while the broader all-share index declined by 25.31 points to 2,805.11.
All sectors finished in red. The services sector was down the most.
Losers outnumbered gainers, 82 to 47, while 42 issues were unchanged.
A total of 1.1 billion shares worth P5 billion were traded.
