Christmas Lights Up at Savannah
Redefining the true meaning of the Christmas season, Camella Iloilo headed the Visayas-wide Christmas lighting of its other themed communities last Dec. 10, 2010. On its second year, Camella Iloilo is the pilot community in the Visayas to officially open the Christmas lighting. Present were Camella Vis-Min Operations Head Leny Luya, Camella Iloilo General Manager Lily Donasco and Marketing Head Cherry Sampani, marketing arm, exclusive brokers, agents, property consultants, home buyers and homeowners.
The event at the Savannah Entrance Gate started at 5:30 PM. Despite the rain, everyone pushed through in making Christmas the time for cheer and hope. What followed was a spectacular fireworks display and a lantern parade.
The Camella Homeowners Association held the pre-judging of Savannah Parol-Making Contest and Daigon (Christmas Carolling) Contest.
To fully recapture the true meaning of Christmas, Camella Iloilo invited the beneficiaries of Children’s Joy Foundation. They are a group of homeless children who were trained to sing.
Then, the Souled Out Band entertained the audience and homeowners until the wee hours.
