Love to Dance, the Finals
After three eliminations and fun-filled nights of fashion, jive, rumba and chacha, four winners were chosen in the Love to Dance ballroom dancing competition in Cleopatra's Barge, Amigo Hotel.
In the Senior Citizens Category, the champion pair was of Roselyn Alovera and Excino Diaz and the first runner-up was the pair of Grace Sumagyo and Richard Abadiano. In the Amateur Category, the champion pair was of Sabrina Basco and Faron Mijares while the first runner-up was the pair of Lina Ang and Henry Padilla. They were judged by Professors Liberty Porras and Noel Mondejar.
The champions won a round trip ticket to Hongkong, while the runners-up received a trip to Manila through Negros Navigation with hotel accommodation and Face Value gift certificates and products.
The event was also made colorful by the intermission numbers rendered by Dulce Gabino & Steve Taleon and Lilia Goco & Brian Baylon.
The contesting pairs, those who rendered special numbers and the ballroom dancing aficionado guests showed off their prowess on the dance floor before and after the competition.
Pilar Martinez and Marichel Magalona, the mesdames behind this successful competition, announced that next year, Love to Dance will be held again, featuring Argentine Tango.
