'Tsinelas' concert for a cause
Climb Up Boys..
Imagine what a simple thing like a pair of tsinelas can do to make a child feel better.
The children of Linantuyan Elementary School in Guijolngan, Negros Oriental walk four to five kilometers from their upland home to the said school everyday ... in barefoot. Such exposes their feet to danger. Traversing rough roads can also be painful.
Thus, Kalimutaw Production decided to organize a concert that will benefit these children. The concert was held recently at the University of Negros Occidental Recoletos. The well-supported event was very successful.
Body Painting.
The show started with the opening ritual of the Laurince Mangao-Babaylan Tribal Dance, followed by live performances by Gropung Ispalding, Chiquitita Wat's Wrong, Free Spirit, Salamander, and Dezmi Graena bands.
The organizers were very thankful for the outcome. This only shows that there are still a lot of people who have good hearts.
