Man rapes calf
This really happened in one hot afternoon in the quiet town of Sibalom, Province of Antique. And it happened not only once but twice.
Police are now baffled what to do with the complaint of one farmer after reporting a case of rape and sexual assault. When asked on the victim's identity, the farmer said it was her calf and the culprit, a 47 year-old neighbor identified as a certain "Rex."
The crime had all the elements of rape and sexual assault except that Philippine laws failed to include animals on its consideration of victims. For instance, the farmer said "Rex" calmly walked towards the calf, took off his clothes and forced himself in the animal's behind. The shocked farmer rushed to his "baby's" rescue but was stopped by the suspect who brandished his .38 caliber revolver. In the ensuing minutes, alias "Rex" achieved his climax and calmly walked away.
The farmer opted to keep the incident a secret saying his calf appeared unaffected yet the incident was repeated Tuesday. This time, several others saw what happened with yet another attempt to stop alias "Rex." Again though, the farmer was stopped and threatened by the suspect's gun.
A male witness reached by Bombo Radyo's Paul Petinglay narrated the incident while expressing his amazement over what they saw. "Rex" is apparently very much married with children.
"Basi nami-an gid man siya kag la-in gid iya ang baka eh, (Maybe he really loves it and it is really different or good with cows)," the witness said.
Police were called in to assist yet to date, alias "Rex" remains at large.
