Market collection for 2005-2006 posted at P34T
The market supervisor has admitted before the Sangguniang Panlungsod that the city's collection report from January 2005-2006 was "erroneously computed." The market collection posted at P34,594,741.98. The actual target is only P29,000,000.

In his letter to the council, Aparicio stated that "the previous figures were erroneously computed." It was not immediately known whether the previous report indicated a much lower collection. Earlier, Councilor Eduardo Peñaredondo said the city is not gaining anything from its market collection because the collections were allegedly pocketed by market collectors. He, later denied having said it.
The P34,594,741 collection includes market rentals, market fees, cash tickets, light fees, bus terminal collections, concessionaires fee, slaughterhouse fees, dental fees and community tax.
Of the P34,594,741 collections, P6,294,787.45 came from market rentals, P622,432.33 (market fees); P6,012,384 (cash tickets) and light fees amounting to P12,893,780.46.
The bus terminal collections posted at P617,136.90; P56,015.64 (concessionaires fee) and P3,860,557.50 for the slaughter house fees. The dental fee only posted at P10,725 while community tax is P4,237,647.50.
