Young priest’s girlfriend files 2 counts of rape
Two counts of rape charges were formally filed Wednesday morning against a young Catholic priest, the alleged victim a 25 year-old who confessed to be his secret lover.
Docketed as I.S. No. 2007-327 and 328, the complainant who has since generated a lot of media attention narrated her supposed ordeal in the hands of his priest-boyfriend. The rape as charged, reportedly occurred twice early this month in what was initially intended to be her scheduled break-up with her secret love.
Admitting that the relationship was forbidden from the start given her boyfriend’s vow of celibacy and ‘profession,’ the complainant said it took her a while to realize that they are better off away from each other. Problem was, she now states in her sworn statement, her priest-boyfriend not only refused but was infuriated then sexually assaulted her.
The alleged rape occurred inside the priest’s family home in a Second District town where she was also reportedly threatened.
“That I tried to resist to his advances but despite of my resistance he was able to undressed me by pulling my dress and the same time telling me that I can accuse of rape,” excerpts of the complainant’s four-paged Affidavit went. “That while doing this to me, I just cry and cry until he was finished with my body.”
The second incident supposedly occurred four days later where she tried anew to break the relationship by talking to her priest-boyfriend’s mother. That day had her inside his bedroom again after being told that they would not want an aunt to overhear their conversation.
“That later on, I discovered that it was not actually her auntie but it was a woman who is doing massage for him. So I got mad and I could not anymore swallow his lies to me. At the time we were inside his room and realizing what he did to me, I asked permission to go out but actually my purpose was to go home. But he blocked my way, he stood in front of door then he approached me and at the same saying in dialect “Wala ka mahimo sa akon!” (There is nothing you can do to me) And he carried me and threw my body on the bed,” she added.
Forming part of the complainant’s evidences was the police blotter entry made February 9th and the Medico-Legal Certificate that showed results of the physical examination stating “genital findings” with “definite evidence of sexual contact.”
