Mayor Jerry P. Treñas, present during the turnover ceremony, said that P700,000 is still needed to finish the project. "The infrastructure is only 30 percent complete. I congratulate the parents of the students of CES for being active in the school," he said. He reminded parents not to put the sole responsibility of improving the school to the teachers and the barangay officials. He also enjoined parents to observe family planning because the city is having a hard time catching up on the population's needs.
