GSIS Capiz inaugurates new office building
Roxas City -- The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) – Roxas Field Office has inaugurated its new office building along A. Belo Street here last December 7 to officially open the workplace to member-clients and some transacting individuals.
"The blessing and inauguration was in time with the Sinadya sa Halaran (SSH) celebration and the National Government Employees' Week," said GSIS – Roxas Field Office Area Manager and Lawyer Jesusa Ruby A. Teruel.
SSH is a yearly celebration culminating in the feast of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception on December 8 while the weeklong celebration for the national government employees is scheduled every December 1 to 7.
A short program followed the mass and blessing ceremonies officiated by Capiz Archbishop Onesimo C. Gordoncillo.
The field office activities were graced by the GSIS top officials Consuelo D. Manansala and Loren L. Garcia, Executive Vice President and Vice President of Special Business Office, respectively.
The agency's Vice President for Public Affairs Ella E. Valencerina also graced the activities.
The new field office of the GSIS used to be the Development Bank of the Philippines' (DBP) – Roxas City branch banking office.
The GSIS Roxas transferred to the building in July this year. (PIA)
