PURR
IBH launches its Peking Duck Buffet
Baby Backribs
There's one Oriental dish that Purr is always excited about. The Roasted Pecking Duck that's made even delicious with hoisin sauce. This dish that originated from Peking, China is made of duck that was originally force-fed and restrained from moving around, thus it has tender meat. It's rubbed with spices, salt and sugar and kept hanging for sometime. As you can see in Chinese restaurants here, the ducks are being hung. Some are even cooked by way of hanging over the fire until they are brown.
Fish Fillet
The Roasted Peking Duck is the highlight of Iloilo Business Hotel's PEKING DUCK BUFFET, held during lunch and dinner daily, for only P250.
The News Today was invited to try out IBH's new offering during its launching dinner along with guests from the business sector. There were seven entrees, four appetizers, pasta, fried noodles with vegetables, dimsum, desserts, and the highlight, the Peking Duck roasted to perfection.
Beef with Broccoli
The dinner was very pleasurable. Marketing Assistant Ramon Salvilla and Purr, along with some friends encountered at the dinner, were savoring every bite amid conversations of where to go during the Holy Week and how a bonfire on the beach with loved ones tops the experience.
After that luxurious dinner, fireworks were unleashed and the Sun Yat Sen Federation entertained everybody with their dragon dance. That's for good luck! On that note, congratulations to IBH on this new exciting gastronomic offering. We loved the food!
