Alay Sayaw Kay Mommy
Kids doing the jazz ballet
Doting mothers would always be delighted to see their kids perform onstage. You can see how proud they are with that sweetest smile painted on their very being every time their kids would unveil their talents.
As a salute to motherhood, Claraval-Gonzalez School of Classical Ballet headed by its Artistic Director Nila Claraval Gonzales had its Mother's Day spectacle entitled, "Alay Sayaw: Salamat kay Mommy" at the SM City Event Center recently.
Kids from from primary and Grades 1 to 5 performed the array of revelry and elegant dances in classical jazz, hiphop, neo- classics and modern genres. The dances were choreographed by Karla White, Pauline Cordero and Angelique Jamerlan.
Classical and original Filipino music such as Sa Ugoy ng Duyan and Paru-parung Bukid were used , which the kids interpreted with ease and grace.
After the kids showed their flair in dance, they made their moms happy by giving them flowers. Mothers were not only awed by the spectacle performance of their children but more so with the love that was showed to them.
Alay Sayaw: Kay Mommy was truly one great event that brought immesurable happiness to the mothers.
