1,212 indigent families receive PhilHealth Cards in Bacolod City
BACOLOD CITY -- The local government of Bacolod City distributed recently a total of 1,212 PhilHealth cards to indigent families in the city.
The distribution is part of the city government's advocacy on providing health benefits to Bacoleños. The City Health Office (CHO) with PhilHealth conducted the orientation and distribution of PhilHealth Identification Cards to 200 qualified indigent families from various barangays last May 20, 2008 at the CHO compound.
Dr. Salome Viñas, head of the CHO said the remaining health cards will be distributed to qualified indigent families by this week.
