Barbara-Pavia-Cabatuan; Patiad, Dumangas; Alimodian-Leon; Oton-San Miguel; San Joaquin; Janiuay-Calinog and Guimaras.
On the other hand, there are five rolling stores deployed in the province of Aklan using the Philippine Army trucks and the NFA vehicles.
To date, the NFA has already issued 80,000 bags of NFA rice issued for relief assistance through the National Disaster Coordinating Council, the Philippine national Red Cross, DSWD, legislators, local government units, non-government organizations and through sales in accredited suppliers.
Zarraga said that the NFA in Western Visayas is assuring the consuming public that it continues to distribute government rice at P18.25 per kilo despite the onslaught of typhoon Frank that destroyed most of the agricultural areas in the region.
She also said that despite the fact that the NFA regional office has suffered much from the typhoon, the agency is relentlessly continuing its mandate of ensuring food security and sustaining a stable supply and prices, at this time of national calamity. (NFA/PIA/ESS)
