Black Party at Flow
Scarlet French with cousin.
Beauty sleep isn't an option for Iloilo City's social scene, especially if it's a glam slam non-stop party given by my favorite watering hole FLOW Resto Bar located at the posh playground, Smallville in Diversion Road. It is usually packed on weekends with young bright things and socials dressed to impress.
Come all in black was the tall order of the club's invite when they had their Sensation Black Party recently and FLOW Resto Bar did manage successfully to mingle the hipsters downtown with the chic regulars uptown. "I know it may sound like a cliché, but Flow parties are incredibly vibrant and the sounds are superb," says one night owl. In-house disc jockeys Jason and Leo had a grand time whipping up their music board with Electro and RnB music.
Engel Loring with the writer..
Seen having the time of their lives on the dance floor and in the bar side were divine cousins Scarlet and Vanessa French, designer Bo Parcon, new fashion kids on the block Pierre Banas and Mike Sorilla, Flow disciple Roger Besa, Mags Boutique Manager Paul Borja, good-looking GJ Jardeleza and The News Today's chronicler Ramon Salvilla aka Pink Pepper.
Smart dressers in black were treated to a shot of the club's night potion - Long Island Tea upon entering the "shrine". The cocktail is made up of the beastly concoction of vodka, gin, rum and tequila mixed with soda, coke and triple sec that gives you a nice dizzy spell. I had three of those. With my spinning head mixed with the club's pulsating sounds, my sharp eyes caught the man about town Tito Lopez and his entourage, the terribly smart and handsome lawyer Releigh Manikan with the equally beautiful Marj Tio and some very hip Roxas City young sparklers whose names I failed to get. Also present were Jamboy Concepcion and company, floral stylist of the affluent Boni Gaverza, my long lost friend Rudy Guillergan and the social icon Bobby Jarder. Sensation Black Party was such a high voltage shindig that even the glitters of whole fun village circuit looks just like a spark of FLOW!
Say Cheese.
Bravo, another job well done to the men behind the bar, brothers Tata and Cedric Loring. Cheers.
