Rapiz to SP body: 'Reds to attack Northern Iloilo, illegal fishing rampant anew'
Communist terrorists are out to attack Northern Iloilo. As such, Police Chief Inspector Leroy Rapiz, group director of the 608th Iloilo Provincial Mobile Group is on high alert. And anytime too, the attack is imminent, said Rapiz with the information relayed to the Committee on Public Order and Security by his counsel, lawyer Tranquilino Gale.
And not only that. Illegal fishing activities in Northern Iloilo are apparently rampant anew with the admission made by Rapiz himself and again coursed through Gale.
Said disclosures highlighted the latest and the last excuse letter for the committee of said police official. Further still, the committee was told, police operations are ongoing relative to the supposed planned attack of communist terrorists. Same "high-alert" status brought by illegal fishing in Iloilo's Fifth District.
"…there is presently an on-going police operation within our client's jurisdiction against possible attack by insurgents, hence, our client's unit is now on high-alert status coupled with the fact that the Honorable Governor Niel D. Tupas Sr. has given orders to our client to intensify his campaign against illegal fishing which is beginning to become rampant again," excerpts of the letter went.
Gale also added that these "urgent demands" of his client's official duties and functions caused him to miss the invite of the Committee.
Rapiz was invited due to the "Berdugo probe" conducted by the committee. With four invites sent, Rapiz also declined four times.
