Travel & Marketing Experts holds HRM Seminar
The Travel & Marketing Experts (TMX) in cooperation with Association of Hotel and Restaurant Management Students - Western Visayas Chapter will hold a one day regional seminar for Hotel & Restaurant Management students at the Iloilo Grand Hotel on September 27, 2008.
The Regional Seminar entitled "Keeping Abreast with New Trends in the Global Hospitality Industry" aims to adept students with the latest trends in the global hospitality business and to keep them at pace with the latest demands in the industry.
The outstanding select speakers are industry practitioners who will tackle topics on the latest trends on hospitality business entrepreneurship, customer service and food & beverage management.
Prof. Hilda Montano of West Visayas State University will speak on Personality Development in the Global Hospitality Industry while Iloilo City Councilor Lex Tupas will talk on Entrepreneurship in Today’s Hospitality Industry. Brilliant chef and restaurateur Owner Pauline Banusing will share the New Trends in Food and Beverage Management.
The organizers expect 800 to 1,000 students and faculty participants who will come from colleges and universities within Western Visayas.
Travel & Marketing Experts Corp (TMX) is the newest travel and marketing agency in Iloilo set up last March 2008. TMX is composed of professionals who are experts in the fields of group travel and tours, public relations, event management and tri-media selling. The key positions the partners handled in several organizations they came from would speak for their capability to handle projects that the agency will be tasked of. The partners have extensive network with the media, shipping and airline companies, bus and hotel operators as well as advertising agencies. The members of the group come from the shipping, travel & tours, IT, media and consumer companies. TMX is at the 3/F, Urban Inn, Luna Street, Lapaz, Iloilo City.
