BACOLOD CITY -- Not all has the gift to see the future. A lot of people are interested to know in advance their future and one local psychic laid down her predictions for 2009, be it love, economy and the sizzling of it is the local politics, among others.
Madam Tari, a local psychic said 2009 has its good and bad side.
She started predicting on the local politics. She mentioned that LTO-NCR Director Ricardo "Cano" Tan will be the next Congressman of the Lone District of Bacolod City. "He is a good man who knows how to handle his people well. He takes care of them with all sincerity."
She also predicted that incumbent Mayor Evelio R. Leonardia will remain as the Mayor of Bacolod.
She also predicted that Senator Manuel "Mar" Roxas who placed his interest to run for President will have a big chance to be the next President of the Republic.
President Arroyo will finish her term in 2010, she predicted.
Bacolod City Councilor Homer Bais will be the No. 1 Councilor if he seeks re-election.
She also said that Usec. Anthony Golez, Atty. John Orola and Atty. Rene Novero will not be fortunate if they try their luck in running for Congress in the Lone District of Bacolod.
"I can see Cano Tan winning the elections for Congress in 2010. He has to continue the good work he has done for his people," she said.
She urged Usec. Golez to run elsewhere.
He can either run against Assunta de Rossi in the 1st District of Negros Occidental.
"He has no place in the City of Bacolod," said Madam Tari.
Vice Mayor Jude Thaddeus Sayson should start charting his direction or else he will have a hard time winning in the next election, Madam Tari said.
Moreover, she urged the local officials to unite for the common good.
