Capiz PNP gets 4 patrol motorbikes
ROXAS CITY – The Police Regional Office 6 (PRO 6) has turned over four of the 11 Honda 200cc motorcycles to Capiz Provincial Police Office (CPPO) as part of its goal to improve police services to the public.
These patrol motorbikes were intended for Cuartero, Dao, Ivisan, and Panitan Municipal Police Stations.
Town mayors and their respective Chiefs of Police received recently the patrol motorcycles at PRO 6 in Camp Martin Delgado in Iloilo City.
The other patrol motorbikes were given to Antique Police Provincial Office which received 3 units and Guimaras as well as Iloilo Police Provincial Office which got 2 units each.
PRO 6 Director Police Chief Supt. Isagani R. Cuevas said that with the support coming in from PNP National Headquarters, better services are also expected to be provided to the public.
During the 18th PNP Anniversary, 32 patrol vehicles were also turned over to several police stations in the region.
“We hope to strengthen our police visibility to deter crimes and make more efficient our responses to police assistance with these patrol vehicles,” Cuevas stressed in a PRO 6 online news.
The region’s top cop has also appealed to the Local Government Units to continuously support the PNP, especially on POL (Petroleum, Oil and Lubricant) and maintenance of the vehicles of police stations.(PIA/A.Lumaque)
